About Peaches *On Trial in Her New Home*
*PEACHES IS CURRENTLY TRIALLING HER NEW HOME - NO MORE ENQUIRIES/APPLICATIONS PLEASE* Little Miss Peaches is an absolute smoocher of a dog who loves giving you puppy kissesl! She’s looking for a new forever home after misplacing her old one; will it be with you??
Recently rescued from our local pound sweet Peaches is a healthy, happy, friendly little dog who loves everyone she meets! She’s lively and energetic as well as being a little bit silly though once she’s calm she really enjoys snuggling up with you on the couch or in bed if she can get away with it! Even though she’s a bit of a lapdog we feel she’d be too active for an older person as she’d get under their feet and could trip them up as she does like to follow you around like a shadow. She’s been in care with some young teenage girls and she totally lapped up all the attention they gave her. Peaches doesn’t have a mean bone in her body and adores other dogs (we’d love to see her rehoused with one) though she could be too full-on for some - she’s best with those who are playful like she is and is currently in foster care with a young Cocker Spaniel cross puppy and they get along like a house on fire; wrestling and racing around like mad things before catching a quick 15 minute snooze, then playing all over again!

Adorable Peaches is allowed inside as well as sleeping inside at night although she does need some help with her toilet training so her foster carer is working on this. She enjoys her food especially treats which is helping with her training (once you manage to get the little wriggle-bum to stay still!) and she’s been learning “sit” as you can see in her video. She will also need some practice at walking on a lead as we don’t think she’s done much of this in her past life though she’s a bright little dog who enjoys getting out and about so we reckon she’ll soon get the hang of it.
Being a Maltese cross Peaches doesn’t lose any hair though she’ll require a good brush once a week and a professional clip a few times a year to keep her coat in tip-top condition. She would be best suited to an indoor / outdoor lifestyle in a home where she’ll have a playful doggie friend for company. Secure fencing, daily walks or runs around the backyard, chicken necks to chew on and toys to play with will make Peaches very happy indeed!

Adoption details
Please Note: SARG and our animals for adoption are located in Mildura in North-West Victoria.
Our adoption process commences with completing an Application form which you'll find at: www.sarg.net.au
The Application is then reviewed, references checked and a yard check done, then, if there are no issues, a meet and greet is organised. If all goes well the last stage is a 28 day home-trial to make sure that everyone is happy.
If the trial is successful our “stray” is then officially considered adopted and the microchip transferred into the new owners name.
If anything goes wrong SARG will always take back one of our animals :)
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
