About Huckleberry
Huckleberry is a gorgeous young pup who loves people, other dogs and cats. He absolutely adores cuddles, kisses and snoozing in your lap. He loves to fall asleep in funny poses - see photo!
Huck is an easygoing pup with a big zest for life. He will be a great family dog as he loves everyone and everything: from his little brother Finn to the big dogs and kittens he's living with.
Mr Sociable will probably be a good little guard dog too as he already gives a few warning barks when strangers are at the door.
Huck can't wait to go to his furever family and begin his next big adventure!
MY IDEAL HOME
I'd love to live with people who will give me lots of attention, affection and playtime. I'm still a baby so I will need an owner who can commit to my ongoing training. I'd love to go to puppy class and meet other puppies!
MY ENERGY LEVEL
I currently have the energy level of a puppy. This means I love to play and zoom zoom zoom, and then I'll sleep for hours (preferably on your lap). Foster mum thinks when I'm all grown up I will have moderate energy levels.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN
I would love to go to a home with children: the more people to give me pats and cuddles, the better! I have met a few kids already and foster mum says I got along really well with them.
MY SUITABILITY TO DOGS & CATS
I love everyone, including dogs and cats! I'm currently living with my brother Finn and two other big dogs. I also like to play with the foster kittens (they're about my age!), they're lots of fun too.

Adoption details
We ask all people looking to adopt to fill an enquiry form.
You can receive this by emailing NSWadoptions@maggiesrescue.org or visiting our webpage www.maggiesrescue.org
We will then organise a time for you to meet with the foster carer and the pet you are interested in adopting.
Maggie's wants this to be a good experience for you, and we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog as your situation may not meet the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of this period we will transfer the microchip to your details and the adoption is complete.
Your pet is a Maggie's Pet for Life, please consider this before adopting.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
