Gin (On Trial 1/2/14)

Gin is a 3 1/2 year old black/brindle English Staffy. She is an absolute sweetheart who loves nothing more than spending time with you. Actually every moment if you allow her to sleep on your bed. She just loves company. She is definitely an inside dog which is no problem as she is fully house trained, and as I will not let her in my bed she has made do with the lounge. She loves to snuggle up with you watching television in the evening and stays there until you get up in the morning. She does not like to be left outside when no one is home so I just let her curl up on her blanket and she is fine until I get back. Then she comes running to greet us with a full body wag!

Gin can be a bit overenthusiastic whilst walking on a lead but this can be improved with training. \ She is brilliant off lead and has not attempted to get out of my yard. She loves drives in the car. I have been told that she is great with children and is okay with cats. Although we have neither here, we do have chooks and yes she has been inquisitive towards them but has made no attempt to get at them.

Gin came to us regretfully as her owners had a new baby and unfortunately their baby turned out to be allergic to dogs. So with very heavy hearts they surrendered her to us. Gin was very sad a first as she had been with her family since she was a puppy, but after a few days she was accepting of us. She even has learned to play with my 18 week old puppy who constantly annoys the daylights out of her.

I feel she would be best suited to a family who does not have another dog just because she wants to be near you. So if you are looking for a beautiful girl to be your constant companion then Miss Gin is the girl for you. As if to prove a point she is outside now as I am sitting doing her profile and she keeps reminding me that she is outside and would really like to be let in please. You have got to love this about her.
