About Koda
Koda is just gorgeous. Named after the sidekick in Brother Bear, she is much like her namesake - cheerful, uplifting, playful and gentle. I met Koda at a local Sydney pound, where she was waiting quietly for someone to notice her. She was delighted to meet my 8 year old son and happily played with him in the run and even in the pound was non-reactive to another dog in the run next to her.
She is a very settled little lady who loves to play and is great with even very young children. She loves running around the yard with the kids, playing fetch or just being with her family.
She is fostered with 2 small children - 3 years and 7 weeks and is very gentle and loving towards them. On the first night, when mum had to change bubs nappy, Koda went and sat next to the bath and watched the 3 year old until she came back - she even helped clean up some of the spillage. She is great with the baby even in the bouncer, she wandered over the first time and had a sniff of his hands and lay down beside the bouncer with an older child.
She is sharing her foster home with a large male dog and 2 cats, one of the cats doesn't like her but she is fine with them.
She is house trained and knows her basic commands.
If you are looking for a happy, gentle, playful addition to your family, please consider Koda. She would love to be homed with children but would make a great companion dog as well.
