About Milo (girl) (On Trial 13/7/14) ~ I have a video
Milo is a 10 month old, female Great Dane x cattle puppy. She is extremely cute, cuddly and affectionate. Milo loves to give kisses and is always by your side ready for a cuddle. She is an active girl who enjoys playing fetch and her favourite toy is a soccer ball. Milo absolutely adores the water and loves playing in the sprinkler.

Milo is going to be a medium to large sized girl but it is unlikely that she will reach the height of a Great Dane. She has had some basic training and responds well to both food rewards and praise. Milo will come when called and is able to sit on command. She is learning to walk on leash but is still a little timid with new sights and sounds. She will require ongoing obedience training.
Milo is extremely friendly to both people and other dogs and enjoys playing chaises with the other foster dogs. She has very distinctive markings and a lovely shiny, black coat with dappled face and chest. She looks as though she is wearing bat ears and a cape.
Milo’s ideal forever home would be with a single, couple or family who are prepared to train, exercise and provide a loving home with a good-sized yard, where she is allowed to come indoors to be a part of the family.
Milo loves coming indoors and is happy to lay on her blanket, with a toy, by your feet. She is well behaved inside and is doing really well with toilet training. (Not one accident so far) Milo was surrendered with her sister by a loving mum as her small courtyard did not provide the necessary room or stimulation for 2 large breed puppies. Milo would make a great addition to a loving family.
For more information or to meet Milo please phone her foster carer Michelle on 0422652530. Milo is in foster care in Cessnock, NSW (west of Newcastle) and is available for adoption interstate.
Milo’s $450 adoption fee includes her desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, micro chipping, and lifetime registration. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au
Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
