About Ketut
Just like his namesake, Ketut is a little charmer ...extremely endearing, loving and playful. Ketut's foster carer has said that he especially loves to have his head, ears and upper back scratched (a lot and this is often accomplished by Ketut gently removing his carer's fingers from whatever she is doing then lowering his head for the inevitable scratching that follows. Ketut is very happy to play in the yard with the foster carer's dogs however he does prefer the company of 'his human' rather than canine. He is also happy to sneak off with toys belonging to another dog and play hide and seek with them. Each night, when his carer is sleeping, Ketut climbs off the bed and transfers toys from his bed to 'our bed' one by one. Visiting grandchildren adore him and vice versa. He is friendly, and easy going, learns very quickly and was house trained in no time. As long as he has access to the backyard several times per day, Ketut is happy and will sleep through the night without any need to toilet until his carer wakes him in the morning. The first time his carer attempted to walk him on a lead Ketut baulked but was fine after that and now loves to go for a daily walk and also enjoys riding in the car. Ketut is also a great little watchdog, and never barks without reason. Many things in his life now are very new to him and he is overjoyed with those new experiences. It's wonderful to watch him blossom in to such a lovely little boy and an exceptionally loyal and loving companion. Ketut also enjoys his bath and has a coat that will grow and require ongoing maintenance to keep him looking and feeling great. Ketut will provide his new family with many years of pleasure and the best home will be with someone who is home a lot, a retired couple or family who have another small, nice natured dog for company. Ketut is currently undergoing treatment for his skin so will not be available for adoption until the infection has gone and we get the all clear from the vet.
