Brandy

**brandy is trialling her new home** brandy was dumped at the pound with a huge abscess behind her eye. When she went to the vet it was found she had a hole in her mouth, from something sharp, perhaps a stick and infection had spread upwards behind her eye. She had to have an anaesthetic and continiuing treatment. She may still lose the sight of her eye. Brandy is so little, she'd be only just 8 weeks old and her injuries don't seem to bother her - she toddles around with her little tail wagging and a smile on her lovely face! her carers mini dachshund has fallen in love with her and she's so gentle - very cute to watch!!!! she isn't eating a lot which may be due to the hole in the roof of her mouth but she's been drinking lots which will help her heal. Only time will tell if her eye will survive though the swelling had gone down a little bit. We'll keep you updated on her progress.
