About Aurora
Aurora has big beautiful eyes that will make your heart melt - and she's got a personality to match. She's a medium-sized cutie who loves pats and cuddles. She is happiest around people, but also loves to interact with other dogs and even cats. She can be a little shy initially, but once you've earned her trust she will love you forever.
Ms Beautiful has a dark coat flecked with brown that sparkles in the sun. Her cute floppy ears and white-tipped tail are always in motion, because Aurora is a happy girl who loves life!
Aurora is toilet trained, a quick learner and very doggy social. She's already learnt basic commands like sit and stay, and will do anything for a treat. She's also great around kids, very gentle, and will make a fantastic family dog.
MY IDEAL HOME
I have a lot of love to give and cannot wait to meet my furever family! My ideal home will have... people who enjoy spending time with me, who will take me for walks and adventures, and who will give me lots of cuddles. I can be a little shy at first meeting new people, but foster mum says I will be a very loyal companion to my new family.
MY ENERGY LEVEL
I have medium energy levels. I love to play fetch or tug-o-war, but I also really enjoy just sitting by your feet or going for a long afternoon snooze. I like short walks, playing in the backyard and squeaky toys! P.S. I also really like going into the water, which is why I look wet in some of my pictures!
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN
I really love children but I can be a little shy around them. That's why foster mum thinks I would be better around kids a little bit older. I'm currently living with an 11-year old boy and I love him. I've been around younger kids but they can be a little bit noisy and active, which can sometimes worry me.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS & DOGS
I really enjoy playing with dogs my same size. I have regular play dates with a Staffy and a German Shepherd puppy and they're so much fun! I also live with two cats: they're a bit boring because they don't really want to play with me, but I get along well with them.
Adoption details
We ask all people looking to adopt to fill an enquiry form.
You can receive this by emailing NSWadoptions@maggiesrescue.org or visiting our webpage www.maggiesrescue.org
We will then organise a time for you to meet with the foster carer and the pet you are interested in adopting.
Maggie's wants this to be a good experience for you, and we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog as your situation may not meet the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of this period we will transfer the microchip to your details and the adoption is complete.
Your pet is a Maggie's Pet for Life, please consider this before adopting.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
