About Humphrey
In every possible way, Humphrey is an adorable little scamp. He loves his people, his foster family's cat and guinea pig are his best buddies too. He loves everyone!
He is an inquisitive little chappy. What's in that box? Why are you moving that cup? What are you doing now? Life is a wonderful mystery to be solved for this happy little guy.
Humphrey is very well socialised with other dogs. He is able to adjust his play to suit his friends. He can turn it up for younger dogs and can tone it down for older, slower dogs. He has a great understanding of doggie etiquette.
This gorgeous boy will sit and watch the other dogs before deciding if he wants to join them with what they are doing, or if not, he happily goes off and does his own thing.
Humphrey is toilet trained and understands the commands to sit and stay. Humphrey is a very clever creature who is eager to please and very easy to train. If he is doing anything that he shouldn't be, or is about to get into mischief, he recalls every time and doesn't needed to be told twice to not do something. Humphrey is a pleasure to walk and behaves well in the car.
Humphrey plays well with all little people. If they are quiet he will sit with them, if they like running around playing games, he will too.
Humphrey would be best suited to a home with a family who have lots of love to give this little guy. This endearing boy thrives in the company of doggy playmates so his new home will have a friend to share all of life's exciting adventures.
Humphrey is curious about most animals (cats, rabbits, birds and mice) but doesn't show any sign that he would like to chase or hurt them. If a household had other animals, it would be better that they were patient calm animals accustomed (or unlikely to be fazed) to doggie sniffs and companionship, which Humphrey would no doubt enjoy dishing out at any opportunity.
Humphrey would also be happy living with a retired couple, going out and about with them, as long as he has a special playmate to share his new family with he will be content.
This amazing dog cannot wait to find his special place to call home. If you would like to meet Humphrey, we would love to hear from you.
Humphrey is located in Melbourne.
Medical notes
Happy, healthy boy.
