About Herbie the Pug
Herbie is a gorgeous 10 month old Pug X. He loves cuddles, and always has to have one paw on you at all times. He loves giving his owners spontaneous kisses. When running around and playing, he will always come back to check in with you to ensure you're enjoying yourself as well.
In true Pug-alicious style, Herbie enjoys having a chat every now and then, and provides free entertainment all day long for his humans.
Herbie loves playing with dogs his size, though he's still getting used to dogs bigger than himself - but he's learning very quickly.
Mr Good Lookin' is a quick learner and cleverly sits for treats, but he could do with a few more basic commands: he will shine with routine and some further training.
MY IDEAL HOME
My ideal home is with YOU, of course! I will do anything to make you happy. I would love to be with someone who is home a lot and will give me lots of attention. I just love to be around people. My foster mum says I'm more like a "human" than a dog... I'm not sure if I should feel proud or be insulted?!
MY ENERGY LEVEL
I have a high energy level and will suit an active lifestyle. I'd love to live with someone who can take me out for daily walks or exercise. Or maybe you have another little doggy friend to keep me company and play with me?
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN
My foster mum says I'm great with children and will be perfect for a family home. Yay - go me!
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS & DOGS
I haven't really come across cats but foster mum is worried I may chase them... just to play with them, I promise! I love being around small dogs, but bigger dogs scare me a little...
Adoption details
We ask all people looking to adopt to fill an enquiry form.
You can receive this by emailing NSWadoptions@maggiesrescue.org or visiting our webpage www.maggiesrescue.org
We will then organise a time for you to meet with the foster carer and the pet you are interested in adopting.
Maggie's wants this to be a good experience for you, and we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog as your situation may not meet the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of this period we will transfer the microchip to your details and the adoption is complete.
Your pet is a Maggie's Pet for Life, please consider this before adopting.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
