About Roxy (On Trial 30/5/14)
Roxy is a 3 year old, female, Jack Russell Terrier, with loads of personality. She is small, only 6kg. She is a very playful, cute, loving and intelligent dog. She loves to be with you and is grateful for any attention you give her.
Roxy is accustomed to a home with another dog. She plays extremely well with other dogs.
Roxy needs a home that has children older than 12 years old. She hasn't had much training yet but being a Jack Russell she's very clever and trainable. She is protective of her family and makes a good guard dog.
She is quite agile and can jump quite high for her size. She is a young dog and needs a daily walk and would enjoy a longer walk in the park or a trip to the beach of a weekend.
She loves her food and will eat anything at all and is not fussy. Her birthday is 4th August 2010. She'd be a great family dog or companion for anyone who can take her for a walk each day.
For more information or to meet Roxy please phone Donna on 02-4942-2517 or email trudgetty@hotmail.com. Roxy is in foster care in Dudley, NSW (Lake Macquarie) and is available for adoption interstate due to her age.
Roxy's adoption fee is $400, and includes her desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au
Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
