About Abe the Babe
Abe is a Babe! He's such a gorgeous, sweet, loving pup who can't wait to go his furever home. He's eager to please, a quick learner, and enjoys spending his time getting cuddles, playing with his foster siblings, and going for walks. Abe will grow up to be a medium-sized dog with the most beautiful colouring.
This wonderful boy has the best temperament: he is really gentle and loving, around other dogs, adults and kids. He is currently living with young children and loves to be around them, being careful to play with them in an appropriate manner.
Abe enjoys company of any kind and is the best companion: playful and energetic when you feel like being active, but ready for a lazy afternoon snooze when you want to relax.
Abe the Babe is very doggy social, he loves to go to the dog park and walks well on a lead.
He will adapt himself to your family's needs... He loves to go for a walk or a run around the park, but he is equally just as happy if you are hanging around home to be lounging around with you and having a good chew on a nice bone in the backyard.
Abe is currently an inside/outside dog currently, he is toilet trained and sleeps outside with his foster sisters. If you're looking for a calm, beautifully natured, well mannered dog who loves to be around his family then Abe the Babe is definitely the dog for you...

MY IDEAL HOME
I don't mind what kind of house you live in, what car you drive or even how many toys you buy me... All I want is for somebody to love me furever! I'm a very easygoing dog who loves being around people, but I'm also good playing by myself. I would love a family who will be able to continue me on my path of learning as I am a quick learner and very eager to please. I would really enjoy going on adventures with my family!
MY ENERGY LEVEL
Once I'm all grown up I will be a medium-sized dog with moderate energy levels. I love cuddles and after a short play I’m happy to just chill.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN
At the moment I live with children 5, 7 and 9 years old. They're my best friends and I love them - my foster mum says I'm very gentle with them.
MY SUITABILITY WITH CATS AND DOGS
I really enjoy playing with other dogs, big and small. I haven’t had the privilege of meeting a cat yet but look forward to the day. My foster mum says because of my calm, gentle nature I should be fine living with a cat.
Adoption details
We ask all people looking to adopt to fill an enquiry form.
You can receive this by emailing NSWadoptions@maggiesrescue.org or visiting our webpage www.maggiesrescue.org
We will then organise a time for you to meet with the foster carer and the pet you are interested in adopting.
Maggie's wants this to be a good experience for you, and we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog as your situation may not meet the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of this period we will transfer the microchip to your details and the adoption is complete.
