About Abbey *On Trial in Her New Home*
*ABBEY IS CURRENTLY TRIALLING HER NEW HOME - NO MORE ENQUIRIES/APPLICATIONS PLEASE* Awesome Abbey is one of a litter of five healthy, happy puppies who were born in September. Her mother is a Terrier cross while her father is supposedly a Silky Terrier cross giving the pups long bodies and short legs.
All of the pups have lovely, friendly nature’s and get along well with their carers other dogs and are used to being handled (cuddled!) by adults as well as primary school aged children and young teenagers making them pretty much “bomb proof” – they’re even good with the household cats and their chickens! All of the pups LOVE food and aren’t fussy so this is helping them with learning the basics such as “sit” and “down”.
Delightful Abbey is a bouncy, energetic girl who absolutely loves life! She can be quite excitable when she’s revved up and in full-on play mode so we wouldn’t recommend her to a home with little children as those puppy needle teeth can hurt. Abbey’s food driven and likes to learn especially enjoying any one-on-one time you have with her and you’ll need a kiddie pool for this adventurous pup as she loves a splash on hot days! \ She’s happy exploring the yard with the other dogs or inside curled up on your lap though don’t leave your knickers lying around as this little munchkin’s been known to “nick” a pair or two! As she’s only a young pup she will require ongoing obedience training as well as socialisation with other dogs so she grows up to have lovely manners! Daily walks, secure fencing, chicken necks to chew on and toys to play with will make Abbey very happy indeed.

As Abbey sleeps inside at night and is picking up housetraining she would be best suited to an indoor / outdoor lifestyle with either a doggie companion to learn from or on her own but only if she won’t be left alone for long periods of time as she’s always had company.

Adoption details
Please Note: SARG and our animals for adoption are located in Mildura in North-West Victoria.
Our adoption process commences with completing an Application form which you'll find at: www.sarg.net.au
The Application is then reviewed, references checked and a yard check done, then, if there are no issues, a meet and greet is organised. If all goes well the last stage is a 28 day home-trial to make sure that everyone is happy.
If the trial is successful our “stray” is then officially considered adopted and the microchip transferred into the new owners name.
If anything goes wrong SARG will always take back one of our animals :)
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
