About Ruthie *On Trial in Her New Home*
*RUTHIE IS CURRENTLY TRIALLING HER NEW HOME* Sassy little Ruthie is one of a litter of healthy, happy puppies who were born in September. Her mother is a Terrier cross while her father is supposedly a Silky Terrier cross giving the pups long bodies and short legs and Ruthie just happens to be the only female with a wirey coat!
All of the pups have lovely, friendly nature’s and get along well with their carers other dogs and are used to being handled (cuddled!) by adults as well as primary school aged children and young teenagers making them pretty much “bomb proof” – they’re even good with the household cats and their chickens! All of the pups LOVE food and aren’t fussy so this is helping them with learning the basics such as “sit” and “down”.
‘Ruthless Ruthie’, as her carer affectionately calls her, might be tiny but she never gives up when playing tug-o-war with the other pups she’s in care with; she’s a real little goer! The name ‘Pocket Rocket’ suits her too as she has oodles of energy hence why her profile pics aren’t so flash as she wouldn’t keep still though pick her up and she’s instantly calm and loves to snuggle up to you. She adores people especially men and she’s more than happy to lap up all the attention she can get. Ruthie has fun pinching doggie toys from around the house as well as from the other pups then relocating them to her own little pile to play with when she’s ready – she’s such a character! As she’s only a young pup she will require ongoing obedience training as well as socialisation with other dogs so she grows up to have lovely manners! Daily walks, secure fencing, chicken necks to chew on and toys to play with will make Ruthie very happy indeed.

As Ruthie sleeps inside at night and is already picking up housetraining she would be best suited to an indoor / outdoor lifestyle with either a doggie companion to learn from or on her own but only if she won’t be left alone for long periods of time as she’s always had company.

Adoption details
Please Note: SARG and our animals for adoption are located in Mildura in North-West Victoria.
Our adoption process commences with completing an Application form which you'll find at: www.sarg.net.au
The Application is then reviewed, references checked and a yard check done, then, if there are no issues, a meet and greet is organised. If all goes well the last stage is a 28 day home-trial to make sure that everyone is happy.
If the trial is successful our “stray” is then officially considered adopted and the microchip transferred into the new owners name.
If anything goes wrong SARG will always take back one of our animals :)
