Promise (On Trial 14/1/14)

Promise is a female Pekingese cross. She is 12 years old and is just a lovely, sweet little girl. She enjoys having a lap to sit on and a human to adore. Promise and has lots and lots of love to give. She'll be a perfect friend for a retired person wanting to bring some sunshine into their life.

Promise was picked up as a stray and remained unclaimed. We named her "Promise" because we've promised to find her a loving home. Small dogs like Promise typically live to around 16 years or more so she still has plenty of time to give to her new family.

Promise is very good with other dogs. She has a low shedding coat which needs regular brushing (every few days depending on length), bathing (every few weeks) and clipping (every 4 to 8 weeks) to keep her comfortable and beautiful.

Promise is an inside dog and needs to be inside, at least when people are home, and to sleep inside. She is housetrained. Her teeth were in bad shape when she was found so she had to have them removed but that sure doesn't stop her enjoying her food. She has cataracts and some reduced hearing typical for her age but gets around just fine.

Promise is available for just a $100 donation to Dog Rescue Newcastle. She is desexed, vaccinated, free of fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered.
