Coco *On Trial in Her New Home*

*COCO IS CURRENTLY TRIALLING HER NEW HOME - NO APPLICATIONS/ENQUIIRES PLEASE* \ Looking for a loyal and loving goofball who’s terrific with other dogs? Then you can’t go past Coco the gorgeous chocolate Labradorl!

Due to a change in her owners circumstances Coco is looking for a new forever home with another friendly dog for company. She’s good with children though we wouldn’t recommend to her to a home with little children who she may accidentally bowl over when she gets excited. Coco’s manners are pretty good for her age, she’s a laidback kinda girl though occasionally she’ll jump up on you but a firm “down” does the trick. Being a puppy still she can sometimes be a bit “mouthey” when she plays and has the occasional quick tug on your clothing though she’s just being playful as Coco doesn’t have a mean bone in her body. In her past life she lived with another Labrador who she got along fabulously with and she’s also great with other dogs she meets taking on a more submissive role.

Being a Labrador Coco LOVES food which means she’s quite easy to train using treats as a reward - she already knows “sit” and is learning to wait before scoffing into her dinner and we reckon she’d be willing to learn more. Coco is enjoying her daily walks and can be quite strong when you first set out though soon settles down and is actually becoming quite a good running partner. She loves water so a kiddie pool in the hot summer months for her to cool off in is a must and she also travels well in a car. Coco doesn’t appear to be a digger or a chewer which is surprising for a young Lab though she’s in a nice big yard with a playful 17 month old Australian Cattle Dog for company and lots of toys to keep her stimulated which helps.

Adorable Coco enjoys attention and cuddles; she’s not overly licky though does have a bit of a foot fetish and likes to lick your toes. She’s not a yapper though will give a warning bark when she deems it necessary. She would be best suited to an indoor / outdoor lifestyle so she can be part of the household goings on with a friendly doggie companion to hang out with. A secure yard, daily walks, ongoing obedience training, bones to chew on, toys to keep her stimulated and lots of love would make Coco very happy indeed!
