About Lucas
Lucas is an independent but loving little dog with a big heart. He was abandoned by his family when his health deteriorated and he got too old!
With loving care and veterinary care he is now much better and a lot happier and is ready to find a loving new owner. Lucas would be an excellent companion dog for an older couple or family. He walks on a lead well and enjoys human company . He is gentle and good with other dogs too. He loves to come inside and sit on your lap and watch some TV or just be wherever you are. He understands your moods and will be great company in the right home.
Medical notes
Lucas has no teeth on the top at the front of his mouth between his canines - possibly from a bad diet - but this does not affect him. When he came in he was infested with fleas which cause a bad skin allergy which has now been treated with steroids. He had a closed, but weeping wound below one ear which has caused considerable thickening of the ear canal which has been treated with surgery and has now healed! Lucas just needs TLC! He is a great dog!
