About Sheba
Sheba is an absolute sweetheart. This gorgeous girl has had a rough life and recently had a successful hip operation. Sheba will require further surgery on her other leg to ensure a pain free life. Sheba needs a special person who will provide love and care after her operation, including her rehab period.

Sheba, for the first time in her life is discovering how wonderful life can actually be. Past experiences have left this beautiful soul wary of the world. Despite this, in just a short time with her loving carers, Sheba’s trust in people and other dogs grows every day.
Sheba is an affectionate girl who gets along famously with the cat she shares her current home with. She is getting used to travelling in the car and is fond of her trips to the beach and lake.

Walking on a lead is a whole new concept to Sheba, but this smart dog will adjust like she has many times before.
Sheba looks forward to the new chapter in her life. A world without constant pain. A forever home or foster home with an amazing family where Sheba will be the most loyal and devoted companion they could ever hope to find. Sheba would be delighted to share her new family with another dog and cat as she thrives in their company.
Sheba is still very very timid and wary of anything new, but she is progressing every day.

Victorian Dog Rescue offers the services of our trainer free for six weeks if needed for any settling in issues.
Medical notes
Since coming under the care of Victorian Dog Rescue, Sheba has had a hip replacement which was successful. Unfortunately her recovery has highlighted the need for surgery on her other leg. This surgery will require Sheba to be crated for six weeks before undertaking rehab. Sheba is expected to make a full recovery.
Sheba is a resilient girl who must have been in pain her whole life, yet despite this has always displayed a loving a kind nature.
