About Muffy
Muffy was born at the shelter, after her mum was left at a pound by her owners. Muffy is an adorable and friendly little girl, who is a bit of a runt but otherwise healthy. Muffy also has a deformed right front paw, which means she can't put a lot of weight onto it. She was born like this, but it doesn't stop her from getting around. She would like to go to a home with other guinea pigs, as she's very social and used to being a bit spoilt. Despite this she has quite an independant and mature nature, in fact she hardly spends any time with her mum other than to drink milk. Mostly she's off playing with the older guinea pigs in the group.
Although we NEVER wish to rehome our animals to people that will breed them, this is especially important in Muffy's case. She was born with two siblings that may have been carrying a lethal gene, and passed away soon after being born with missing eyes. Although Muffy is healthy, she could potentially be a carrier of this gene, making it a stupid and irresponsible decision to breed her. Anyone wanting to make baby guinea pigs, please step away. Move on, this girl should never fall pregnant.
