Jenna May (On Trial 12/1/14)

ON TRIAL 12/01/14: Jenna May is a senior, Mini Foxy cross, aged 10. She is an easy going, tiny, gentle girl weighing just over 3 kilos! Jenna May enjoys company and is friendly with everyone including young children. She loves any sort of attention and is great with other dogs. She has lived with cats and 3 other dogs. She was previously kept outside but now loves being allowed inside and as long as she has direct access to outside she will go outside when needed.

Her health is good for her age with normal wearing of the teeth and a little stiffness in the back legs first thing in the morning. Her eyesight and hearing seem fine and she has a very good appetite. She enjoys a walk and a bit of a run around however she is not demanding of exercise. She has been to the beach with my 2 dogs and seemed to really enjoy it and even had a little swim. After some exercise, Jenna May is happy just snoozing in the sun or inside on a comfy doggy bed while she recharges her batteries. Jenna May walks very well on a lead and comes when she is called but has not been off lead outside the yard yet but feel sure she would not run away but would stay with you.

Jenna May is an inside dog. She has been sleeping inside at night and as long as she is taken outside for toileting last thing at night and then early in the morning there are no accidents. Being an older dog who has been used to living outside she is still getting used to having free access to the house. A comfy bed, doggy coat and an enclosed laundry would be required if not sleeping in the house.

Jenna May would make an excellent companion dog for an older person or couple with her unassuming but affectionate nature and "low maintenance" personality. Jenna May has a coat which will require brushing 2 or 3 times a week and regular bathing. Being so tiny this will not take much time.
