Lucy *On Trial in Her New Home*

*LUCY IS CURRENTLY TRIALLING HER NEW HOME* Cheeky Lucy who looks a bit like a miniature Border Collie, is one of a litter of healthy, happy puppies who were born in September Her mother is a Terrier cross while her father is supposedly a Silky Terrier cross giving the pups long bodies and short legs, while two of them have a wirey coat.

All of the pups have lovely, friendly nature’s and get along well with their carers other dogs and are used to being handled (cuddled!) by adults as well as primary school aged children making them pretty much “bomb proof” – they’re even good with the household cats and their chickens! \ All of the pups LOVE food and aren’t fussy so this is helping them with learning the basics such as “sit” and “down”.

Fun-loving Lucy enjoys wrestling with her siblings followed by a dip in the puppy pool on a hot summer’s day. Being a Terrier cross she’s an energetic little go getter and is as bright as a button as she was the first pup to master “sit”. She loves racing around the yard checking everything out before she runs out of puff and then flops down for a well-deserved puppy snooze. As she’s only a young pup she will require ongoing obedience training as well as socialisation with other dogs so she grows up to have lovely manners! Daily walks, secure fencing, chicken necks to chew on and toys to play with will make Lucy very happy indeed.

As Lucy sleeps inside at night (she shares a crate with her sister Cleo) and is already picking up housetraining she would be best suited to an indoor / outdoor lifestyle with either a doggie companion to learn from or on her own but only if she won’t be left alone for long periods of time as she’s always had company.
