Chalky

Hi, my name is Chalky and I am a very excitable fit young boy who has not had much training. A behaviourist checked me over and says I am super friendly towards dogs and people and am very smart and food motivated. She got me to drop in about 10 seconds and says I will be very easy to train.

However, I need a strong handler who is breed experienced and has either trained dogs before or is prepared to put in lots of effort to help me blossom into a lovely dog. Without a firm hand I will run all over you and turn into a ratbag. At present I pull on the lead but am just full of life and want to have fun. Like all dogs I was stressed in the pound environment but will soon settle down when I am in a family atmosphere again.

I am not suitable for a home with cats but am toilet trained, used to sleeping indoors, absolutely love going on walks, playing ball and thrive on attention.
