About Rocky (On Trial 21/6/14) ~ Free ~
LOOKING FOR LOVE - Meet Rocky the 6 month old Doberman cross (staffy? kelpie?). Gentle, loyal, affectionate, great with children. He loves pats and will quietly sit next to you or at your feet for as long as you give him. He has the most amazing ears and really just couldn't be any cuter!
Rocky sleeps through the night, goes straight outside to do his business in the morning, doesn't cry when left alone and travels quietly and calmly in the car. He will eat anything you give him and scoffs it like he will never be fed again. He is learning to wait until I have stepped away from his bowl before he can eat. Rocky is an inside dog and needs to be allowed inside, at least when people are home, and to sleep inside.
Rocky can be choosy about his dog friends, so if you have another dog they will need to be introduced properly.
Rocky would suit any family, couple or single who is committed to ongoing basic training and dog socialisation.
For more information or to meet Rocky please phone Paul on 0402 293 504 email pdelmo@y7mail.com. Rocky is in foster care in Metford, NSW (near East Maitland).
Rocky is free to a suitable, loving home. We do a property check and sight ID, etc.
Rocky is desexed, vaccinated, flea and worm treated, microchipped, and lifetime registered. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
