Puppy Dozer (On Trial 12/1/14)

Dozer is a 14 week old Kelpie x Ridgeback puppy. Dozer is more outgoing and confident than his brother Shaggy. Dozer is a rough and tumble, yet loving and loyal dog. He is sociable with other dogs, though he can be a little bossy with his brother at times. He loves the company of children and is a very easy going after the initial excitement of meeting other human and puppy folk.

Dozer will benefit from a family environment where he can be a part of your life. He currently sleeps inside at night in a crate with his brother. Like any puppy, Dozer will need ongoing training and socialisation to ensure he grows up a well adjusted dog. He will also need as regular walking and exercise once his vaccinations are complete. We have started housetraining, but still being very young he'll need a little more work on this.

Dozer's favourite toy is a tennis ball that he will happily fetch for you for as long as you continue to throw it. He currently lives with two children, 7 and 3 years old and we are teaching Dozer to be gentle with them and not jump. With a little training he will make a great pal!

Dozer would best suit a home with another dog or puppy for him to play with. If you are looking for a big boofer who will play with you all day and snuggle with the family at night, and you have secure fencing then this is the boy for you. Dozer will grow to be a medium to large size dog so please consider if a medium to large dog will suit your family.
