About Rio and Riley (On Trial 18/1/14)
Introducing Rio and Riley, a pair of male Border Collies who will be 3 on the 13/2/2014. Rio and Riley can be adopted individually as long as they have another dog/s for company in their new family.
They travel well in the car and happily live outside in the day and come inside the garage at night to sleep on their beds. They do not try to jump fences and as little as a 1m fence will keep them happily contained.
They do tug on leads initially when walking, but that settles down after a while. Riley does whimper during his walks initially too, but again that settles down.
They always have a summer clip which keeps them cool which they love. Although, if it turns cooler they do like to have their pj's on.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
