Digga

This magnificent man is Digga a pure bred pedigree Rhodesian Ridgeback who is currently in care at Windsor. Digga has been surrendered into our care as his formers owners have relocated overseas.

This beautiful boy is somewhat confused having grown up with them since a puppy and only knowing the one yard and home he is unsure of what has happened to him and is just now accepting food.

Digga will need a confident but calm owner who is able to manage a fifty plus kilo dog and who has had experience with this breed before. Digga is a gentle boy but his size alone could be an issue with young children. Although he has grown up with children and adores them the children would need to be "dog savvy" around him.

Digga would be a wonderful companion dog for an older couple who could ensure he receives a daily walk and has room to explore his yard and also have inclusion in the family home during inclement and hot weather.

Digga has come from a home where he was with small dogs and children but has not been allowed inside. We are introducing him to large and medium dogs as well as cats.

Currently is is unsure of people and strange things so he is a timid dog until he builds trust with you and his environment.
