Layla is on hold pending adoption.
Layla is a loving and well mannered female stock coated German Shepherd dog who has been surrendered into our care. \ Her former owners had left her as a yard dog and by her coat and skin condition she has been underfed and neglected. She has lived with small dogs and cats and is social with both.
Layla is looking for a caring owner who understands the nature of the German Shepherd breed who know that they cannot be left as yard dogs but are intergral family members who need inclusion in the family home and provided with daily walks and stimulation.
Layla is a gentle girl and very attentive her current foster carer says she is her shadow wanting to be with her carer and showers her with love and attention. Layla will need a committed owner and having had five years of neglect we want to ensure she finds a caring home so if you are looking for a companion dog who will sit beside you and be your constant then consider Layla.
Layla comes fully vet checked and wormed, tick and flea treated and will be hydrobathed and groomed prior to going to her new home.

Adoption details
We have an Adoption Manager who screens all prospective candidates as to their suitability to adopt a German Shepherd Dog.
The successful candidate who adopts one of our dogs is provided with an information kit, ongoing support, training and advice on all aspects of feeding, training and general assistance to ensure both the new owner and our rescued dog settle into their home.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
