About Pasa
Hi I'm Pasa I am a big gentle giant I was surrendered as my owners were unable to continue looking after me.When I first arrived at the shelter I was a bit scared but after spending some time in our rehabilitation section gaining confidence I am now ready to find my forever home.I am going to need a patient and understanding owner who is willing to take it slow with me and is able to continue my socialisation and manner work.I have shown to be a little head shy and will duck my head with any over-head movements so it is important you move slowly around me and avoid any sudden movements.Due to my fear of over-head movements and loud noises I would prefer a home with no young kids under the age of 12 yrs old and will need to meet all members of the family so that I am comfortable with everyone.Being a big active boy I am going to need regular exercise to help keep me fit and healthy daily walks and lots of regular games of fetch will help me stay at a healthy weight. Please ensure I am given things to keep me occupied when left alone things like a variety of toys to play with plus also some boredom buster toys such as kongs or treatballs are fun and will help prevent any destructive behaviours due to boredom.I think small fluffy things like cats and pocket pets are fun to chase so cannot go to a home with any cats or pocket pets.I have shown to have a fear response to other dogs while in the shelter for this reason I MUST BE AN ONLY DOG and will need to avoid any off lead dog parks or beaches as these types of places stress me.Please ensure you have a large secure yard for me to play in with at least 5f high fencing and no holes or gaps I could squeeze through.NO KIDS UNDER 12YRS OLDNO CATS OR P.PETSMUST BE ONLY DOGSPEAK TO BEHAVIOUR TRAINER AT ADOPTIONSUPERVISOR OR T/L ADOPTION ONLY
