About Puppy Tori (On Trial 3/1/13)
Tori is a sweet and cuddly 10 week old puppy. Her mum is a brown border collie and her dad is a black Labrador, so I am sure she will grow to be a very smart and loyal dog, given the mix of these 2 breeds. Tori doesn't mind sitting on your lap for a cuddle while the others are running amok. Having said that, she will join in with the rest of the puppy play when she's in the mood.
Tori is put in her crate (large cage) to sleep at night time and generally when she is let out in the morning her bedding is clean and dry and the first thing she will do is go out to the yard and go to the toilet. Due to her age, she may have the odd accident but we are getting there. She will come when she is called and will sit for her food. Tori's sister Bonnie (tan coloured) is also available for adoption. Tori is the quieter of the two.
We always recommend puppy-training classes to give your new family member the best start in life. All dogs and puppies need plenty of affection, exercise, and training.
For more information or to meet Tori please phone foster carer Anne on 02 4943 3651 or 0412 837 867. Tori is in foster care in Charlestown, NSW (Lake Macquarie, south of Newcastle).
Tori's $450 adoption fee includes her desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, and microchipping. *** See more photos of Tori at http://www.petrescue.com.au/listings/ \ and see all of our available dogs on our Dog Rescue Newcastle website.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
