About Frederick
Throw it please. Throw me the ball! Hi there. My name is Frederick. I’m a friendly and confident boy, I adore cuddles and love tennis balls.
I am in doggy bliss if you let me play outside. I can spend hours wandering around the garden, chasing butterflies and flies, running, jumping and weaving through the plants. I don’t dig in the garden and am not at all destructive. The only exception for digging was when I had to hide my bone for later.
We have had some hot weather lately and I cool off by paddling in the creek and splashing around in my clam pool which is an absolute hoot! My human companions gave me some squeaky toys. They are fabulous and I don’t at all mind sharing them with my fellow canines.
Spending time with my doggy friends in the park is so much fun. We love to run and chase the ball. You will find me to be a tolerant fellow and I make friends wherever I go. I adore the social scene and get along famously with all my doggy playmates. Just between you and me though, I must admit I prefer the company of the bigger dogs.
I’m a smart cookie, toilet trained, I walk well on the lead and come when called. I know how to heel, will sit when told and understand the command to stop.
I’m a low maintenance fellow, don’t have a jealous bone in my body and don’t crave a lot of attention. I really like my male foster carer, so if you are a bloke on the lookout for a terrific companion then look no further than me!
I will be so thrilled when I find my special family and a place to call home, possibly as the only fur member. I’m always on the lookout for cuddles on the couch and you’ll often find me at your feet with a ball. Can you throw a tennis ball?
Since living with my foster family my confidence and trust has grown. I feel more secure and life is better than I ever could have imagined.
Apparently my photos make me look older than I am, but don’t be fooled by this. I am very fun loving and my enthusiasm for life will always make you smile.
Do you think I would fit into your world? I will be the best friend you could ever ask for.
Frederick is currently based in Melbourne.
