About Shooey
Shooey's foster carer put him to the test of being in the company of lots of family members (including young children) over the holiday period and said that Shooey was great with everyone for the entire day and especially loved the children. As people came in and out of the side gate to join the party, Shooey greeted them all and he showed what a great dog he is by giving everyone who came to the party lots of smooches and kisses if they were happy to partake. Shooey played with three children who were throwing balls between themselves and would run and catch the balls so by the end of the day he was well and truly worn out. Shooey was a hit with all the visitors and is hoping they will tell their friends about him and maybe he will get a home very soon. In the meantime, Shooey is very happy in his foster home learning new things and being very spoilt. His carer thinks Shooey will be fine as an only dog if his new family don't leave him alone for long periods of time. He would ideally love a home where the mum of the family is home most of the time or with a retired couple. Shooey has a coat that will require regular grooming and clipping and is a house dog requiring indoor access via a doggy door or similar.
