Tilly,Rotti x Kelpie (On Trial. With Jolie, 14/2)

Tilly is a gorgeous 6 month old, female, Rottweiler x Kelpie puppy. She gets along well with other dogs and people. She is looking for an active home where she will get daily runs and lots of playtime. She is best suited to a home where there is another playful dog for company when people aren't home.

Tilly does like to use her voice to get your attention if you forget about her or if there is another dog trying to 'chat' to her but is otherwise a very quiet puppy to live with, in terms of voice. Her personality is enthusiastically energetic and she will not suit a family who is unable to exercise her. She does not dig, is not a nuisance barker, does not chew things. She is house trained and trained to sleep in a crate (cage) at night and does not ask to go out until the morning.

As with any puppy, she will need ongoing training, especially to help her learn how to greet humans properly and to consistently do as she is asked. She is very loving towards children and was living with a 7yr old and 3yr old child but needs supervision as she tends to get overexcited and jump. But she is getting better and responds well to training. Her new family will need to help teach her the correct manner of containing her excitement and hopefully take her to training class.

True to her breed, Tilly is very smart, learns quickly, and understands and obeys when you ask her to sit most of the time, after she initially settles. She walks well on a lead without pulling, and is always very happy to greet other dogs and humans she meets along the way.

Tilly would suit a family home, with plenty of time and love to give to her. She will need enough room to stretch her legs in your yard, ongoing training for her jumping, secure 6ft fences and to be allowed inside to be a part of her family. Tilly has been a pleasure to have in our home and an excellent playmate to our medium dog. Being a sociable girls her kisses are the best and when she settles and learns not to jump she will be your amazing forever buddy.

She will be a valued and loyal member of her new family. Her best characteristics are her ability to love her human and doggie family as well as anyone else who she comes into contact with. Don't overlook this beautiful girl. She is still young enough to bond and grow with your family but old enough that the ground work has been done for you in crate and toilet training this precious girl. We adore Tilly ourselves and are sure the family who gets her will be incredibly lucky.
