About Tilly(On Trial 20/5/14)
Tilly is a very friendly happy go lucky 18mth old female terrier mix. She is just the loveliest natured girl who just wants to have fun and play and interact with the family.
She loves playing with other dogs and would benefit from having a doggie companion as she loves to play tug or go outside and play chasings. She would also benefit from taking a couple of puppy school lessons:) Not that she's a naughty dog but she loves to jump up and sometimes is having too much fun to listen to instructions:)
Tilly is a inside dog and is a little larger in size than a small dog but isn't big enough to list as a medium size dog. Because she does jump up and can be a little boisterous she wouldn't be terribly good around small children until she had some training.
Tilly is not an aggressive dog but a happy natured girl who just needs a little training to make her the best family dog ever.
If you think you could provide Tilly the loving secure forever home she deserves please contact Lucyann by email to blackorchid7@hotmail.com.au Tilly is in Lake Macquarie, NSW.
Tilly's $400 adoption fee includes her desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au
Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
