About Brandy *On Trial in Her New Home*
*BRANDY IS CURRENTLY TRIALLING HER NEW HOME* Adorable Brandy is a healthy, happy puppy who was born on the 14th of September this year. We’ve gone with “mixed breed” as we’re not sure of what breeds her parents were though they’ve definitely got Staffy, Heeler and a smidge of Labrador in them according to the fella who surrendered the pups to us.
Brandy is the more laidback pup who has a friendly, affectionate nature and is very used to being handled (cuddled!) by adults and older children – we wouldn’t actually recommend her to a home with really young kids until she’s fully trained as those puppy needle-teeth might hurt! Brandy gets along well with her foster carers other dogs just wanting to play or hang out and she’s fine with the household cats. She enjoys her food though is more of a “grazer” than her sister the guts! She LOVES treats which is helping with her training and she’s learning the basics such as “sit” and “down”. She hasn’t spent much time on a lead as she’s being fostered on acreage so will need some practice with this in her forever home.
One of Brandy’s favourite activities is playtime with her sister Josie who tends to boss her around but this easygoing pup doesn’t mind. They play for hours, tumbling about the yard and playing tug-o-war with their toys then to cool off they like nothing better than a swim in their wading pool – Brandy likes to put her head under water and blow bubbles! At night time Josie comes inside for some cuddles on the couch and to hang out with her carers little dogs before heading off to the laundry to curl up with Josie and enjoy sweet puppy dreams ?

As she’s only a young pup she will require ongoing obedience training as well as socialisation with other dogs so she grows up having lovely manners. \ Daily walks or runs around the backyard, secure fencing, bones to chew on and toys to play with will make Brandy very happy indeed!
Brandy would be best suited to an indoor / outdoor lifestyle with either a doggie companion to learn from or on her own but only if she won’t be left alone for long periods of time as she’s used to having company.

Adoption details
Please Note: SARG and our animals for adoption are located in Mildura in North-West Victoria.
Our adoption process commences with completing an Application form which you'll find at: www.sarg.net.au
The Application is then reviewed, references checked and a yard check done, then, if there are no issues, a meet and greet is organised. If all goes well the last stage is a 28 day home-trial to make sure that everyone is happy.
If the trial is successful our “stray” is then officially considered adopted and the microchip transferred into the new owners name.
If anything goes wrong SARG will always take back one of our animals :)
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
