About Roberto
Roberto (or Robbie to his foster carers) is personality plus with a very friendly, cheerful and happy personality. Roberto is still a very exuberant puppy and has all the puppy qualities so it would be best for him to be rehomed with another young dog as he does enjoy having a doggy friend to play with and for company when his carers are out at work. Roberto loves playing with his toys and gallops around the place at full steam but can also become chilled when he's given calm attention. Any new home should not have young children (toddlers) as he is likely to knock them over in his excitement since he thinks everything is a game. Roberto thinks toys are the best thing and he loves to follow and chase your shoes as you walk along when he is in a playful mood. He is very eager to please and loves being told what a good boy he is, especially if he gets treats, pats or any kind of affection or attention. Roberto is very responsive and a simple 'no' is almost always enough to prevent the 'shoes, paper, plastic, random-thing-he-found-on-the-floor-to-chew' games. His carer has found that positive, calm training works best! Roberto is a very quick learner and a house dog that is completely house trained so must always have access to at least part of the house. He can be very cheeky and loves cuddles but is also very good at jumping and can jump very high. Roberto loves food but is not possessive or aggressive when eating. He sometimes starts out sleeping in his own bed on the floor but more often than not he ends up snuggled in bed with his carer. When on the bed Roberto loves to be touching you, either snuggled into your legs or curled up under your arm with his little head resting on your shoulder. Overall Roberto is just such a happy, funny, friendly little thing that is full of beans and such a bundle of sunshine and joy. He's gotta lotta love to give!!
