Sam

Sam is a very friendly affectionate boy looking for a loving home. He will do best in a home with an active family who will exercise him daily as he is an active playful dog with energy to burn. He will require at least one daily walk or run as well as interactive playtime. He knows how to sit. But like all dogs he will benefit from ongoing obedience training to keep his manners in check and help him learn more.He can be a little unsure of new people and places so he will need patient owner to help build up his confidence and will need to meet everyone in his new family to make sure everyone gets alongSam isnt very food motivated but he will respond well to positive reinforcement training. He has met plenty of dogs at the shelter and has friends he plays with so he gets along well with lots of friendly dogs. He would enjoy having another friendly dog in his new home for company but he must meet any potential doggy friends at the shelter before they can go home together. Sam seems ok with small animals like rabbits guinea pigs and cat so he can be re-homed with these animals but should always be supervised. He has a lovely nature and would enjoy a life where he is included as part of the family & in daily activities. Dogs are social animals and as long as he is exercised daily and receives mental stimulation then he loves just lounging about with you. His yard must have secure 5ft fencing with no holes or gaps to keep him safe for the times he is outside. MUST MEET ALL FAMILY MEMBERS
