About Gai
Gai and her brothers and sisters were found with their mother under a house between the river and the cemetery in September 2009. Their Ginger mum needed a quiet place to have her babies so chose behind a pillar in a dark corner in the basement of a lovely house. She was discovered after the kittens were born, although the people happily fed her they could not keep her so they called HappyPaws Haven. The whole family has been adopted except Gai who is a bit shy but can be affectionate when she is held quietly for a cuddle and a gentle stroke. I am sure once she goes to a quiet family on her own or with another cat she would be fine. I may take a few weeks for her to adjust but once she has she will be fine
Adoption details
HappyPaws Haven is fussy about who adopts these animals and where they are housed and cared for. The adoption criteria is documented as a questionnaire and strictly adhered to. We do not adopt animals to people who rent unless they are long term rental at the same address and have landlords written permission.
We ask if they have thought about the attributes they want in a dog, lifestyle, childrens ages, prepared to train, etc. We also talk about responsible pet ownership, \ fully fenced yards, hours unattended etc. and finally a vet reference.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
