About Abbey
Abbey is a beautiful Belgian Shepherd cross with a wonderful nature. She was rescued from Tweed Heads Pound by a lady in Kingscliff only to find that the older dog at home would not have a bar of if her and made life difficult for Abbey. Instead of taking her back to the pound Tamara bought her here. She is about 12 months old, fine with kids and other dogs. She is now desexed, immunised, chipped, heart worm tested, treated for parasites and to go to her new home.

HappyPaws Haven is fussy about who adopts these animals and where they are housed and cared for. The adoption criteria is documented as a questionnaire and strictly adhered to. We do not adopt animals to people who rent unless they are long term rental at the same address and have landlords written permission.
We ask if they have thought about the attributes they want in a dog, lifestyle, childrens ages, prepared to train, etc. We also talk about responsible pet ownership, \ fully fenced yards, hours unattended etc. and finally a vet reference.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
