Hi! I'm Salem an affectionate and friendly boy who came to the RSPCA as a stray. Sadly I was never reclaimed by my old family so now I'm looking for a new forever home!.I can be a little shy when in new environments but I am slowly coming out of my shell. I will be best suited a quieter home without young children as I can be easily spooked and will settle in much more easily in a quiet and calm household.If you have any animals at home please ensure they are social with cats before adopting me and introduce us slowly over the first few days as it can all be a lot to take in in one go!I will be safest if kept inside for the rest of my life away from the danger of cars and roaming cats or dogs. If you do decide to let me go outside please wait at least 6 months after adopting me so I may become familiar with you and your home.Please remember you are adopting me for life! I could live for another two decades so please bear that in mind before you take me home.PREFER NO YOUNG CHILDREN
