About Kensi
Kensi is a beautiful 11month old fawn & silver tabby/tortie.
Kensi's short life has been very difficult and traumatic. At just 7 months she was surrendered to the pound, heavily pregnant and scared. She entered a loving care environment and gave birth to 6 beautiful kittens!!! Not only was she a fabulous mum but she slowly started coming out of her shell.
Because of her history, Kensi is a bit shy to start with until she gets to know you. She had rib fractures and a bad jaw when she first arrived into care, and we believe she may have been abused/kicked by a man (resulting in her preferring ladies). Kensi doesn't like to be picked up too much but instead prefers to sit next to your feet or on the lounge next to you, snuggling on the bed. This could also be due to pain she had endured when injured.
She is very gentle but still very much a kitten and enjoys a good play.Kensi adores ear and head rubs and has a wonderful purr. Kensi is now a good eater and a bit of a talker at times. she is very clever and is also house trained.
Kensi would ideally be more suited to a home with no children as they frighten her and prefers women to men. But she is slowly learning to like men and trust them too! Kensi is small dog tolerant and gets on well with cats in her foster home.
Kensi must go to a STICTLY INDOOR HOME as this little lady has been through a lot in her short life and outdoor life might be too challenging for her.
if Kensi sounds like a wonderful addition to your family please contact us to organise a meet and greet!
Adoption details
First step is to organise a meet and greet and fill out an adoption questionnaire. if all goes well a home visit with your family is organised so we can meet you all and see where she will sleep eat etc. A two week trial then occurs to see if Kensi is the right cat for you. After these two weeks you decide if you would like to continue with the adoption. If yes, then the change of ownership form is lodged with council. if not she is returned to us and refund is given minus an admin fee.
