About William (Will)
Our sweet baby William (Will) is now looking for his purrfect home that will love and care for him forver.
Will is such a cutie, he gets along with all the other cats and kittens and even the household large breed crazy 1yr old puppy. Will is extrodinarily friendly when given the chance for quiet cuddles. Will has been in foster care with us since he was 8 weeks old and this is why;
Will's litter mates were all abandoned and he was the only boy. Unfortunely, his hungry litter mates tried to suckle his 'private parts' which caused his prepuce to become infected. When we took the litter into our care, he went on pain relief and antibiotics straight away. A few weeks passed, they all were desexed and his medication had finished. One day his foster carer noticed that he kept going to the litter tray more than usual. Upon a vet visit, it was found that his prepuce had healed scarred over and had blocked his pathway for urination. He had emergency surgery to remove all the prepuce and he has been in foster care for a few months now to make sure all has healed normally and that he did not scar over again- Good News- ALL IS WELL!!!!
We are now offering this gorgeous sweet heart up for adoption and the vets have advised that there should not be any ongoing treatment to worry about.
There are things that the vets suggest to keep an eye on. Mainly, that he is urinating in his litter tray everyday and if he is to go off food etc he needs a vet visit. This is no more care than any kitten/cat should expect from a forever home but given the previous history a special eye is needed on a daily basis.
Will is waiting patiently for his forever family to find him, he would love having another cat friendly cat to snuggle up to or a cat friendly dog and especially cat friendly humans :)
Can you offer William the forever home he has been waiting for??
