About Huey
Huey is a playful little pup but very well behaved.
Huey loves water and has been swimming in his water bowl.
This adorable ''pocket rockets'' is an inquisitive little dude, nosing about with his tail wagging in the air. He will make a wonderful addition to a young family as he is playful and gentle.
He gets on very well with dogs, cats, and children.
According to the vet he is a jack Russell x who will grow to be a small sized dog.
He tends to have puppy crazy mornings and evenings where he tears around the house and plays with my kelpies and then sleeps a lot of the rest of the day.
He definitely needs company during the day, and judging by the way he loves our dog would be better suited in a family with another dog.
He's good in the car and since we have had him we have taken him everywhere with us, so she's been exposed to the office environment, cafes, shops, other people's houses and even a very very loud Christmas party. He also LOVES water.
He's coming along well with his toilet toilet training.
Everywhere we go people comment on how well behaved and cute he is so I have no doubt he will be adopted quite quickly.
Adoption details
We strongly recommend you read the dogs' profile carefully as everything we know about the dog/s is listed.
If you are interested in a dog we invite you to submit an application form so we can learn more about your circumstances. This is to ensure we match the right dog to the best home. (one form per family - not per dog) http://www.dogadoption.org.au/adoption---expression-of-interest.html
This is for the benefit of both the dog and the potential new owner/s. It also saves time and uses limited resources more effectively.
Once the essential criteria is confirmed we put you in touch with the carer for a more detailed chat with a view of meeting the dog/s.
If you decide to proceed with the adoption we make a time for a house check.
The adoption fee is then paid (there is a 2 week cooling off period.) Please note we do not usually allow trials.
Foster carers are also able to adopt foster dogs once approved.
