About Klaus
IN FOSTER CARE IN ENMORE
Klaus is a young male 18-month-old Pomeranian. He is tiny – only 3.5kg – and has a lovely long blonde coat with a healthy sheen.
He is housetrained and can use a dog door. He comes to his name and obeys instructions when he is addressed.
He is a loving member of the family who likes to lie around on the couch with the rest of us receiving pats.
He is a good eater and likes treats.
SUITABILITY TO OTHER DOGS
Klaus is fine with other pets and enjoys our dog’s company at home. However when in park he is intimidated by meeting other dogs. We are working on this and his new owners will also need to do this.
He is pretty easy going and would easily suit a house with kids or a couple. He would be happy to live with other dogs but is a bit inexperienced about meeting them. He can be a bit bombastic but once introduced is fine with them.
MY ENERGY LEVELS
I enjoy a couple of walks a day.I am good on my lead but I am not hyperactive or too demanding for exercise when at home - I am happy to lounge around the house. I also like to go for a drive.
SUITABILITY TO CATS, CHILDREN AND OTHER ANIMALS
I am presently living with a 3 and 5 year and I am happy for them to play with me. They give me excessive attention and I like that!
I am fine with cats and happy with the dogs I currently live with. I like cuddling up to the dachshund on the couch at my foster home.
Adoption details
We ask all people looking to adopt to fill an enquiry form.
You can receive this by emailing NSWadoptions@maggiesrescue.org or visiting our webpage www.maggiesrescue.org
We will then organise a time for you to meet with the foster carer and the pet you are interested in adopting.
Maggie's wants this to be a good experience for you, and we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog as your situation may not meet the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of this period we will transfer the microchip to your details and the adoption is complete.
Your pet is a Maggie's Pet for Life, please consider this before adopting.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
