Buster (2) (On Trial 15/12/13)

Buster is a beautiful-natured 4 month old male Australian Kelpie cross. He is currently living in a small foster home with 3 other dogs (both large and small) and 2 cats and has settled in to his foster home beautifully. Buster has also lived with 4 small children and was very gentle with them.

Although he has only had very basic training, he will sit and come on command and is highly intelligent who responds very quickly to training. Buster has taught himself how to use the doggy door and is completely housetrained.

Buster LOVES going for a walk but will need further lead training as he has a tendency to pull on the lead with excitement. He has an incredibly sweet nature and has not shown one ounce of aggression towards any person or dog that he has encountered during his short time in foster care. Buster will only bark when someone approaches the house that he is currently living in, and is presently left outside during the day with his other foster siblings while his carer is at work, but sleeps quietly in the lounge room on his bed at night.

Buster is a companion dog who loves nothing more than to be by his carers’ side and will only be adopted to someone who will let him be inside as a part of the family, and where there is a commitment to training, in return for this you will have the pleasure of owning a beautiful natured, quiet and loving companion.
Due to unfortunate circumstances Buster does not have a tail but this does not affect him in any way.

The ideal home for Buster would be one with an active single person, couple or family who are committed to taking him for a daily walk and allowing him inside of an evening. Buster would also need another active, playful doggy friend to play with. Buster would make an excellent walking/running companion and he has already shown excellent recall off-lead.
