Pirate

This is the adorable little “Pirate” who is currently in foster care with our three dogs and two cats. He is an absolute delight who has such a happy disposition and just loves life to the full.

He gets on great with other dogs, kids, and is absolutely obsessed with one of our cats. I have never seen a dog love a cat so much to the point that when our cat is around, humans and dogs are forgotten, it is so gorgeous to watch. He is a young dog so ongoing training would be a must, we are working on the house training and he can use the doggie door no problem.

He loves to have a run down at the dog park and will approach all dogs big and small for a friendly hello. If he were to be homed with another dog, I would suggest they be of similar temperament as he loves being in our dogs faces and playing wrestle games with them. He has excellent recall for a pup, even when we are at the open dog park he will always come when called. He pulls a bit at first on the lead but settles quite quickly but we are working on that too.

I believe he was not an inside dog in his previous home as he seemed very nervy and timid when he came inside. However he comes in and out whenever he pleases and loves the idea of snuggling up on our lounge with us and his foster brothers and sister.

He sleeps in his own bed inside and lets himself out in the morning, so we are well on the way to house training him.

He would pretty much suit any family that is willing to put in the training he needs but I really believe he would love a companion doggie to play with.

I am sure whoever adopts this little man will fall in love immediately.
