About Max
Max is a playful and affectionate dog. He is loyal and loves spending time with his humans. He has good manners and knows some basic commands such as sit and shake hands. Max loves going for a walk but he does tend to pull on the lead and we are working with him on this. Max is friendly with other dogs, he just loves to run around and play chase with his fellow foster dogs.
Max doesn’t need too much exercise; he is happy to have a daily walk and likes to explore the back yard. Max loves to go for a ride in the car; he sits quietly looking out the window watching the world go past.
Max’s coat is silky, soft and shiny and he will need a brush every 2-3 days and grooming every couple of months to keep it looking its best. Max is fully house trained and will not jump up on the lounge or bed (unless he is invited).
Max’s foster carers say that he is a very special boy, he would make an excellent companion. He can lift up your mood in seconds. Max would suit a first time dog owner, a family with children (10+) or a retired couple – he really is just a lovely, dog who needs one walk a day to keep this beautiful guy happy.
Max is currently fostered in WAGGA WAGGA, but transport can be arranged. Just ask us to obtain a quote for you when you submit your adoption application.

Our goal is to match pets' personalities and exercise/training requirements with people whose lifestyle they are best suited to. This reduces the chances of the pet winding up in a pound again. Please don't feel offended by our adoption process, it is for everyone's and every animal's benefit:
1. Submit application for adoption (obtain at Best Friends Pet Rescue website)
2. Homechecks are conducted on short-listed approved applicant(s)
3. Best match selected according to the pet's personality and needs
