About Jax (adopted 23/6/14 by carer)
Jax is a very handsome 1 year old, large mixed breed who just wants to be your friend. He is truly an amazing boy; loving and energetic. He is still very much a puppy and loves everyone and everything, a big baby in fact but is very eager to learn and please.
Jax loves exercising those lovely long legs and walks well on a lead once his initial excitement disperses. Each day he becomes more and more controlled on lead. As you can appreciate with his long legs he would be fantastic at jumping high, so it is imperative his new home will have high fences and include him in family cuddle time.
Ideally, he would be suited to a family without small children simply due to his size and energy; he may accidentally bounce all over them in his excitement to play. He would be perfect as a companion for someone who wants a "I’ll go everywhere with you" dog.
For more information or to meet Jax please phone Donna on 02-4942-2517 or email trudgetty@hotmail.com
Jax is in foster care, Dora Creek (Lake Macquarie) NSW and is available for adoption interstate.
Jax's $300 adoption fee includes his desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au
Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
