About Russell (On Trial 24/12/13)
Russell is Mini Foxy x Jack Russell Terrier approx. 4 yrs old, an easy come, easy go little man. He loves nothing more than sitting by your side and watching the world go by. He is loyal, comes when he is called and has mastered the skill of "sitting" when told. He is highly intelligent due to his breed. Russell is a friendly little man. He is currently living with 2 other small dogs and doesn't seem to be fazed by them at all.
Russell's foster mum says he is no trouble at all and is the easiest dog to care for. Russell is in foster care in Windale, NSW 2306 (Lake Macquarie, south of Newcastle) and is available for adoption interstate.
Russell's $400 adoption fee includes his desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au
Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
