Miracle (Red flag & golden oldie)

A red flagged guinea pig means that he/she has had a bad experience either from neglect or ignorance these guinea pigs are looking for an extra special home where they can get the care and love they so desperately dissever.
Hello my name is Miracle and I love people and am a very friendly little girl and I also enjoy lots of cuddles.

Miracle came to the shelter with 15 other guinea pigs after a breeder decided to go out of business, Miracle was used as a breeding guinea pig she came to the shelter at the age of 5years and was used simply to produce off spring and had been having back to back litters her entire life.

On arrival to the shelter all 16 guinea pigs where very stressed, skinny and had shocking over grown nails as well as many having medical conditions, Are team worked quickly to get them all settled and in cages,

Miracle was one of the 1st we attended to she was skinny and did not appear to be pregnant but we suspected the possibility, her nails were so long she could hardly walk due to the length, She was placed into a clean cage with food to settle while we attended to the other 16 guinea pigs,

When we came back to Miracle our team was shocked Miracle had given birth to 2 large babies both of witch where still born

Miracle was also in a critical state she was unable to stand and was lying on her side, her breathing was very shallow and she was now a skeleton you could feel all her bones.

We quickly attended to her but she breathing just got slower and slower I was unsure if she was still breathing at the point.

CPR was performed on Miracle witch helped her greatly she was then stabilized and after several months of proper treatment and a good diet she is now a happy healthy girl ready for a loving forever home..

PLEASE NOTE: The above happened on a Sunday a vet was not a realistic option as the after hours vets are a good hour drive away

Please not you are required to send photos of where you wish to house her and Please keep in mind that the shelter is looking for an extra special home for her somebody that is willing to go above and beyond what is needed so please understand that if your adoption form is not approved it may be because you are not the right home for her you may be the ideal home for some of the other guinea pigs available.
