Alfie

Alfie is an adorable old boy (12), looking for his forever home to see out his final years.
Alfie is fully house trained and quite obedient- he will let you know if he hears something out of the ordinary eg. strangers at the door. He loves going in the car and on small adventures.
Alfie will be very loving to his new owner- he needs a lot of attention. He is an inside dog and would need to sleep on the bed with you. He is good on the lead and loves going for walks. Alfie is very playful and full of beans, but he also loves sleeping on your lap. Once he gets to know you he will want your full attention, including regular cuddles, following you around the house and giving/ receiving kisses. He will need some time to settle into his new home- and to learn to trust his new owner.
Alfie will become King of the house. He is extremely picky about who he trusts. He is a classic “Chihuahua”. When he is unfamiliar territory Alfie can be a little unsure- but who isn’t? He is very timid around strangers and in new environments. He could potentially be rehomed with a placid female dog (which is the set up in his current foster home).
Unfortunately, we recently found out that he is an epileptic, which he is on medication for- but he is managing just fine.
